John E. Peterson, President
John earned his B.S. Degree from Arizona State University and holds an International Management Diploma from Oxford University in Great Britain. He has over 30 years experience in the insurance industry where he has focused primarily on captive insurance company development and management, as well as, commercial property and casualty insurance. John has had over 13 years successful tenure as a Chief Executive Officer for several large international insurance brokerage firms, including such companies as The Crump Companies (successor of Kindler & Laucci Insurance Brokers) and Jardine Insurance Brokers. While working for Jardine, John represented their US operations in captive formation and management consulting. John founded RMS in 1988 to specialize in captive insurance company management and alternative risk financing, both on and off shore.

Carolyn "Sandi" Blumit, Sr. Vice President
Sandi earned her B.A. Degree from Boston College and began her career in insurance in 1969. Sandi is instrumental in all day to day company activities, but focuses primarily on our specialized swimming insurance programs. She has been developing and managing successful swimming insurance programs for over 28 years. J. Eric Peterson, Jr., Vice President Claims and Litigation
Eric earned his B.S. Degree in business management from California Lutheran University and his MBA with a focus on Global Management from the University of Phoenix. He also holds a Certificate in Risk Management from the University of Phoenix. Eric began his career in 1993 working for Anderson Law Offices in Jacksonville, Florida. Since then he has worked for several large insurance brokerages as Litigation Manager. Eric currently holds licenses as a Property and Casualty Broker and as an Arizona Insurance Adjuster.
David Cooper, Vice President Marketing
Dave earned his B.A. in marketing in 1993 and MBA thereafter from Arizona State University. Dave has held positions as a Product Line Marketing Manger for Lighthouse Products, a division of Macklanburg Duncan, as well as, Retail Sales Manager for one of the largest dairy producer/ manufacturers in the southwest. He joined RMS in 2006 and was given the responsibility of creating new sales and marketing opportunities for products and services offered by RMS. Dave has acquired his Arizona Property and Casualty Insurance License and is working to promote our specialty lines of insurance products.
Debbie Williams, Sr. Account Executive
Debbie began her insurance career in 1979 as a personal lines underwriter in Ohio. After 8 years in personal lines she migrated to commercial claims handling responsibilities and account management for commercial lines. Debbie remained in commercial lines after moving to Arizona where she worked for a large insurance company and an agency as an Account Manager. Debbie has become an integral part of RMS, adding her extensive insurance experience in multiple fields. Debbie is our Senior Account Executive and manages a large portion of our commercial lines business and helps manage the day to day activities of our specialized swimming programs.
Carmen Van Boening, Account Executive/ Swimming Programs Specialist
Carmen came to RMS from Germany in 2004. She earned her degree in business administration in Germany and also gained valuable work experience working for several businesses in Germany with international focus. Since joining RMS Carmen has acquired her Arizona Property and Casualty Insurance license and taken a major role in the day to day customer service of our swim insurance programs.
